Act as a HR business partner for the assigned groups, to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization with key focus on Talent Planning, Fostering Performance Driven Culture, Improving Talent Engagement and improving HR metrices. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the entire gamut of HR related activities for 150-200 employees. Acts as a single point of contact for the employees and managers in the business unit for all HR related matters. Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate. Ensures timely delivery of manpower needs based on dynamic business plans; partners with the talent acquisition team to build an effective pipeline to ensure timely closure of critical needs. Supports Managers in effective implementation of Goal based Assessment System. Acts as the performance improvement driver and provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the Corporate HR team to develop solutions, programs and policies. Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required. Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation. Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning. Support the Business Head to design succession plans, role rotation plans and provide career development options for key talent and critical positions. Identifies training needs for business units and participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met. Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Incumbent must be an MBA graduate/MSW/M.A. Psychology (with 60% throughout) from a recognized university with 4-8 years of experience in the similar function in a reputed organization (preferably from IT industry). Must possess sound knowledge of all HR systems and processes, including, but not limited to: Manpower planning and recruitment, On-boarding, Induction & Orientation, Training Need Identification and Coordination, Performance Management, Employee Engagement & Talent Development, Employee Relations and Grievance Management, Attrition and Retention Management. Must have strong MS excel and MS powerpoint skills. Ability to handle, analyse and interpret data is desirable.
