Job Description: Candidate should have 5 to 7 years' experience in Import clearance, International logistics. Role & responsibilities • Get the Checklist approved • Following up with suppliers for order confirmations and shipment. • Negotiate with Freight Forwarder for shipping rates • Prepare and plan for inventory re-ordering as per the consumption of products • Tracking the shipments and receiving shipping documents. • Coordinate with customs clearance team for clearance of goods from port. • Check all invoices of freight and compare with quotation. • Preparing daily/ weekly/ annual reports • Proposed Duties & Responsibilities • Knowledge of Import custom clearance function of inbound shipments (FCL/LCL) • Should be able to identify areas to cut down logistic cost (inbound) • Be able to attend and resolve operational queries • Should independently handle right from application to closure of Authorization (offline & online) • Monitoring of authorization compliances in time bound manner • Licensing
