Insight & Visualization Engineer

Main Purpose: We are seeking a talented Insight & Visualization Engineer to join our Data & Digitization team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Tableau and Databricks to create insightful visualizations and reports that drive data-driven decision-making within our Retail operations. Your work will support our ongoing initiatives to digitize and optimize Retail processes, ensuring our Retail team is equipped with the tools and insights needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis & Visualization:• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau to provide actionable insights for Retail teams.• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective visual solutions. Utilize Databricks for data processing, transformation, and analysis to support visualization efforts. Continuously enhance and optimize existing reports and dashboards to improve clarity, efficiency, and user experience. Data Integration & Management:• Work closely with data engineers to ensure data is accurately extracted, transformed, and loaded (ETL) into visualization platforms. Integrate and manage data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and consistency across reports and dashboards. Develop and implement best practices for data visualization and reporting standards. Collaboration & Communication:• Partner with Retail teams to understand their operational needs and provide data-driven insights that support their objectives. Present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Act as a liaison between Retail & Operation, IT, and other departments to ensure alignment on data strategies and solutions. Innovation & Continuous Improvement:• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in data visualization and Retail digitization. Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve data accessibility across the organization. Contribute to the development of data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and security.
