As an Internal Logistics Operations Supervisor (IL OPS Supervisor), your role is crucial in leading and synchronizing all in-plant logistics operations to ensure the efficient flow of materials from the warehouse to production lines. Your main responsibilities include: - Team Management: Lead, train, and develop the warehouse team, including operators, forklift drivers, and technicians, fostering a culture of high performance and safety. - Safety Protocols (EHS): Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with environmental, health, and safety standards, maintaining equipment such as forklifts and racks while promoting a "Zero Accident" environment. - Risk Mitigation: Conduct safety walks and inspections to ensure timely completion of corrective actions related to equipment and ergonomics. - Line Feeding Systems: Oversee various line feeding methodologies to ensure the right part reaches the right line at the right time. - Mizusumashi (Water Spider) Routes: Implement and monitor optimized Mizusumashi routes for synchronized delivery cycles to production workstations. - Supermarket Operations: Supervise the organization and replenishment of the Warehouse Supermarket according to FIFO principles. - Buffer Management: Monitor buffer stock levels between the warehouse and production to prevent overstocking or line shortages. - Kaizen & Flow Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in material flow and lead Kaizen initiatives to reduce waste in transportation and motion. - Cycle Counting & Accuracy: Support the cycle counting program to maintain high inventory accuracy levels. - WMS/ERP Management: Ensure accurate recording of all movements in the ERP/WMS system in real-time. - KPI Tracking: Monitor and report on key logistics metrics. Additionally, you are expected to have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Administration, or Foreign Trade. An MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is desirable. Your knowledge should include expertise in Lean Logistics, experience with Time & Motion studies, proficiency in ERP systems (specifically SAP - WMS), leadership skills, efficient communication, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on operational efficiency. It is essential to have experience in team management, leading continuous improvement projects, and be results-oriented with a systemic view. Fluency in English and the ability to work in rotational shifts are also required for this role.
