Our client is looking for a dynamic International Business Manager to drive the company’s growth across global markets. The role will focus on developing and managing distribution networks, identifying new market opportunities, and driving sales of the company’s FMCG portfolio across key international regions. The ideal candidate will have experience in export sales, distributor management, and market expansion in the FMCG non-food category. Key Responsibilities International Market Development • Identify and develop new business opportunities across international markets including Africa, Middle East, Southeast Asia, and other emerging markets. • Develop and execute market entry strategies to expand the company’s global footprint. Distributor & Channel Management • Appoint and manage distributors, agents, and key partners in international markets. • Build strong distributor relationships and ensure achievement of sales targets and market expansion goals. Sales & Revenue Growth • Drive export sales and meet international revenue targets. • Track sales performance and develop action plans to improve market penetration. Market Intelligence • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing, and consumer preferences across regions. • Provide insights to leadership to refine product and market strategies. Trade Marketing & Brand Development • Work closely with marketing teams to implement trade marketing initiatives and brand building activities in international markets. • Support distributors with marketing plans, promotional campaigns, and product launches. Cross Functional Coordination • Coordinate with supply chain, regulatory, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of export operations. • Ensure compliance with international regulatory and documentation requirements. Key Requirements • 6–10 years of experience in International Business / Export Sales within FMCG. • Experience in non-food FMCG categories such as personal care, home care, hygiene, or cosmetics. • Proven experience in distributor management and international market expansion. • Strong understanding of export processes, pricing, and international trade regulations. • Experience handling markets such as Africa, Europe, CIS, Southeast Asia, or America is preferred. • Strong negotiation, relationship management, and business development skills.
