International Logistics Manager

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced International Logistics Manager to oversee our global pharmaceutical trading operations. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end supply chain logistics, including international freight (Air/Sea), customs brokerage. You will be responsible to ensure that every shipment reaches its destination on time, in perfect condition, and in full compliance with international pharmaceutical regulations. Key Responsibilities Global Shipping & Freight Management: Strategically plan and manage international outbound shipments, negotiating competitive rates with sea and air freight carriers. Regulatory & Customs Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with local and international laws, including Customs Border Protection (CBP) and specific pharmaceutical standards like Good Distribution Practices (GDP). Vendor & Service Provider Management: Develop and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, customs house agents, and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers. Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost reduction in the supply chain, such as optimizing container yields and managing budgeted air-to-sea ratios. Qualifications & Skills Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in international logistics, specifically within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector. Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) On-Time In-Full (OTIF) Delivery: Percentage of orders delivered by the promised date and in correct quantities. Logistics Cost as % of Sales: Efficiency of the logistics budget relative to company revenue. Customs Clearance Time: Average time taken to clear goods through various international ports.
