Job Title- Inventory & Data Analyst Location- Pune, India About the Role- We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory & Data Analyst with some experience in bookkeeping and accountancy, with strong numerical and analytical skills. This role combines robust inventory management and data analysis to optimize stock control, ensure accurate stock reporting and support strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities- • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits • Manage inventory accounting, including stock valuation, cost analysis and variance reporting • Reconcile inventory accounts and investigate discrepancies in stock and financial data • Prepare comprehensive stock/inventory reports and accounting statements • Analyze sales trends, inventory turnover and financial data to forecast stock requirements • Develop data models, dashboards and reports to track inventory KPIs and financial metrics • Coordinate stock transfers and track all inventory movements across systems • Validate stock transactions (receipts, issues, returns) and ensure accurate record-keeping • Collaborate with procurement, finance and operations teams (onsite and offsite) for inventory planning and cost optimization • Use advanced Excel functions and data visualization for financial and inventory analysis • Implement measures to reduce stock loss, improve accuracy and enhance process efficiency • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards Key Skills & Education Required- • Post graduate diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field (preferred) • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in inventory accounting, financial analysis, stock control or data analytics • Strong numerical aptitude and analytical mindset • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, data modeling) • Experience with accounting software, inventory management systems and ERP platforms • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, inventory management and financial reporting • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial and inventory data • Ability to analyze complex datasets and create actionable insights • Strong organizational and time management skills • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines What We Offer- • Competitive Salary- ₹5,00,000 - ₹6,00,000 per annum (depending on experience, negotiable) • Working Hours- General shift / Afternoon shift (UK Shift) (depending on business needs) - No night shifts • Holiday entitlement as instructed based on UK guidelines • Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment with room for personal and professional growth Language- English (Required)
