About the job
Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end logistics operations: domestic & international shipments, freight negotiations, transport planning and compliance. - Manage warehouse planning, layout optimization, storage standards, safety protocols, and material handling efficiency. - Oversee inventory health — cycle counts, reconciliations, shrink control, and real-time stock visibility across all locations. - Build SOPs for receiving, storage, kitting, QC, and dispatch; ensure strict adherence to timelines. - Develop a reliable vendor network for 3PLs, transporters, packaging, and warehouse infra — with continuous cost optimization. - Track and improve operational KPIs: turnaround time, order fill rate, freight cost, stock accuracy, damage/loss, and returns handling. - Collaborate closely with Procurement, Production, After-Sales, and Finance to keep the supply chain flowing without excuses. - Drive digitization — implement barcoding, WMS enhancements, and automation opportunities. - Lead and motivate warehouse teams; ensure high productivity and discipline on the ground. - Maintain statutory compliance related to logistics, warehousing, labor, and safety.
