About the Role 'This role involves managing and updating critical quantitative and qualitative data for asset management firms and investment banks across multiple third-party consultant databases. The position requires strong attention to detail, process optimization skills, and collaboration with global stakeholders. A key focus will be ensuring data integrity, supporting institutional sales, and exploring automation opportunities to enhance efficiency. Roles and responsibilities - Oversee key deliverables across multiple consultant databases and ensure compliance with SLAs. - Perform detailed reviews of consultant database profiles to evaluate gaps and improvements to processes. - Drive consultant database strategy to enhance institutional visibility and support global sales enablement. - Develop and execute short-term and long-term project roadmaps for process improvement and automation. - Update and maintain consultant databases with accurate data on AUM, fund holdings, portfolio manager details, and strategy characteristics. - Coordinate quality checks and proofing of all updated information to maintain data integrity. - Liaise with internal departments to source and validate information. - Respond to quantitative and qualitative data requests from internal and external business partners. - Document, track, and report processes and tasks for transparency and compliance. - Identify and implement automation opportunities using VBA or other tools to streamline data updates. - Manage and train junior associates on the team. Identify growth areas and support team members in their development. - Mentor and train new hires, ensuring smooth onboarding and process knowledge transfer. - Manage stakeholder relationships through regular business reviews and process updates. - Handle complex ad-hoc requests such as PM changes, mergers, benchmark updates, and comparative analysis. Required Knowledge & Experience - 8-13 Years of experience in RFP or Consultant Database. - Education: o MBA/MS in Finance or CFA certification preferred. - B.Tech/BE in Computer Science or related field is an added advantage. - Technical Skills: o Strong knowledge of Asset and Wealth Management industry and capital markets. o Familiarity with consultant databases (Evestment, Mercer, Morningstar, GIMD, Alpha). o Proficiency in Excel; VBA/macros experience is a plus. Exposure to CRM and workflow tools (Salesforce, Qvidian, OMNI). - Preferred Skills: o Quick learner with strong attention to detail. o Knowledge of equity and fixed income markets. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
