IT Developer / Engineer II

About the job

The IT Developer / Engineer II researches, designs, develops, configures, integrates, tests, and maintains both existing and new business applications and information systems solutions. This role involves working with databases, third-party software, and internally developed applications to meet business and technical requirements across the organization. Key Responsibilities • Analyze business and technical requirements to design effective application and system solutions • Develop, modify, and enhance applications using approved technologies and standards • Configure and integrate third-party and internally developed applications and infrastructure solutions • Perform unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and system workflows • Provide ongoing application and system maintenance, including database management • Participate in architecture and design reviews to ensure compliance with IT standards • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational objectives and strategies • Support end users and functional teams such as Supply Chain and other business units Required Skills • Strong development experience in Python OR Java OR .NET platforms • Experience with application development, integration, and maintenance • Understanding of database concepts and information systems • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Preferred Skills • Experience working with enterprise applications • Exposure to system integration and infrastructure solutions • Familiarity with SDLC and best development practices Work Environment • Works within the Information Technology function • Supports HP end users and multiple business functions
