About the job

Purpose of role: To manage IT financial planning and control by handling IT budgets, vendor costs, and approvals, while ensuring effective tracking of CAPEX, OPEX, and vendor performance. Job Details: • Experience: 2–6 years of relevant experience in IT Finance & budgeting lifecycle • CTC Bracket: Competitive, aligned with industry standards • Qualification: BE / B Tech / MCA / BCA / MTech. • Location: Gurugram (WFO - 5 days) • Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days (Candidates with notice period of less than 30 days are preferred) Mandatory Skills: • Strong experience of handling budget lifecycle, from planning to tracking • Must have Vendor / Partner Management skills • Strong hold on Excel and number crunching Skills Required: • IT Budgeting (end-to-end, from scratch) • IT Vendor & Contract Management • CAPEX & OPEX tracking and control • Cost-benefit analysis & approval note preparation • Basic accounting and financial controls • Strong Excel and number-handling skills Roles & Responsibilities: • Create, track, and report annual IT budgets from planning to closure • Monitor and control IT CAPEX and OPEX spends • Prepare approval notes, business cases, and cost-benefit analysis for IT investments • Manage IT vendors, contracts, SLAs, and service performance • Coordinate with IT, Finance, and Procurement teams for budgeting and vendor payments • Handle vendor escalations, penalties, and performance reviews • Identify cost optimization opportunities and improve financial efficiency in IT operations
