Our client is seeking a bright and analytical Junior Data Analyst to join their fully remote team. You will work under the guidance of senior data scientists and analysts, gaining hands-on experience in collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data to extract meaningful insights. Responsibilities: • Assist in the collection and organization of data from various sources. • Perform data cleaning and preprocessing to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies. • Develop and generate reports and dashboards to visualize data insights for stakeholders. • Support senior analysts in performing statistical analyses and hypothesis testing. • Learn and apply various data analysis tools and techniques. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support. • Assist in the interpretation of data findings and the development of actionable recommendations. • Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with data governance policies. • Stay updated on emerging data analysis methodologies and technologies. • Document data analysis processes and findings clearly and concisely. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field. • Basic understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques. • Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and ideally Python (with libraries like Pandas, NumPy) or R. • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage tasks effectively in a remote environment. • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
