Our client is looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Remote Junior Data Analyst to join their growing analytics department. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere within India. You will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions across various departments. Your primary focus will be on collecting, cleaning, and analyzing datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations. You will be responsible for creating reports and visualizations that clearly communicate findings to stakeholders, often in non-technical roles. Key responsibilities include: - Assisting senior analysts with data extraction from various sources - Performing data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness - Developing SQL queries to retrieve specific data - Contributing to the design and implementation of dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI - Supporting ad-hoc data requests from different teams - Documenting data processes and methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Proficiency in SQL is essential. Familiarity with at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView) is highly desirable. Basic understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques is required. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for effectively presenting findings and collaborating with remote team members. You should be a self-starter, capable of managing your time effectively and working independently in a remote setting. Prior internship experience in data analysis or a related field is a plus.
