Our client, a prestigious financial services firm, is excited to announce its Graduate Program, offering a unique opportunity for recent graduates to kickstart their careers as Junior Data Analysts. This position is based in our Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, IN office. As a Junior Data Analyst, you will work closely with senior data scientists and analysts, gaining hands-on experience in data collection, cleaning, analysis, and visualization. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong quantitative background, a passion for data, and a desire to learn and grow within a supportive and challenging environment. You will contribute to projects that drive business insights and decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Assist in collecting and cleaning data from various sources. Perform data analysis using statistical methods and tools to identify trends and patterns. Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to the team. Support senior analysts in developing data models and algorithms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and requirements. Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the analysis process. Learn and apply new data analysis techniques and tools. Contribute to documentation of data processes and findings. Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions. Develop an understanding of the business context and how data can drive strategic initiatives. Qualifications: Recent graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis principles. Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), or R. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Strong attention to detail. Previous internship or project experience in data analysis is a plus. A genuine interest in the financial services industry.
