Junior Financial Modeling Analyst

About the job

We are looking to hire a Junior Financial Modeling Analyst based in Hyderabad to support financial model execution work. Requirements: • 1+ year experience in building startup financial models • OR • completion of • formal training in financial modeling • Familiarity with SaaS business models is helpful but not mandatory • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including: • Clear understanding of cell styling and formatting discipline • Comfort with basic financial formulas (SUMIFS, IF, LOOKUPs, INDEX/MATCH, etc.) • Good conceptual clarity in Excel usage (logic over complexity) Role Expectations: • Assist in building and maintaining structured financial models • Follow defined modeling standards and templates • Focus on accuracy, consistency, and cleanliness rather than advanced Excel tricks This role is execution-focused. Advanced Excel or automation skills are not required, but Ms-Excel and Financial Modeling fundamentals must be strong. Location requirement is strictly Hyderabad. • Interested candidates may share their resume along with a brief note on their Excel and financial modeling exposure.
