Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for a Junior Software Engineer. The role is based in Melbourne, VIC, with flexibility to work remotely for part of the time. The Junior Software Engineer will contribute to the development and maintenance of software systems, work on back-end web development, support team projects with programming expertise, and assist with implementing object-oriented solutions in existing systems. Team collaboration and effective communication are integral to success in this role. Qualifications • Solid foundation in Computer Science principles and problem-solving skills • Experience with Back-End Web Development and Software Development practices • Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) methodologies • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to hybrid work settings • Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn and grow in a technical role • Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • Familiarity with Agile development and version control systems (such as Git) is a plus
