Job Summary Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a passionate and driven Junior Web Developer (Remote) to join our dynamic team. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates, coding bootcamp alumni, or self-taught developers who are eager to gain real-world experience in full-stack web development. As a remote intern, you will contribute to live projects while receiving structured mentorship, feedback, and learning opportunities to enhance your technical and professional skills. Key Responsibilities • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of websites and web applications. • Collaborate with senior developers and designers to implement responsive user interfaces. • Debug issues and provide fixes under guidance. • Participate in daily team meetings, code reviews, and agile development processes. • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. • Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and development trends. • Contribute to documentation and internal knowledge bases. Required Skills and Qualifications • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. • Familiarity with any one front-end framework/library (React, Vue, or Angular preferred). • Basic knowledge of backend programming (Node.js, Python, or PHP is a plus). • Exposure to version control tools such as Git. • Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities. • Good written and verbal communication skills. • A strong willingness to learn and take constructive feedback. Experience • No prior professional experience required. • Ideal for freshers, recent graduates, or those completing a web development course or certification. • Internship or self-initiated projects on GitHub will be an added advantage. Working Hours • Remote and flexible working hours (15–25 hours/week). • Collaboration expected during core working hours (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM IST). • Duration: 3 to 6 months (with potential for full-time conversion based on performance).
