About the job

Role Description As a Key Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for customers — managing inquiries, confirming requirements, coordinating production timelines, tracking order status, and ensuring that every delivery meets client expectations. Key Responsibilities - Manage day-to-day communication with customers via phone, email, and WhatsApp. - Understand client requirements for packaging, materials, sizes, and customization. - Prepare quotations, confirm orders, share timelines, and provide regular updates. - Coordinate with internal teams — production, design, procurement — to ensure smooth execution. - Track order status, follow up on deliverables, and resolve issues proactively. - Maintain accurate records of inquiries, orders, dispatches, and customer feedback. - Ensure on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction. - Build strong relationships with recurring and key clients. - Handle order escalations professionally and ensure quick resolution. - Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports on order status, delays, and customer interactions. - Benchmark customer experience standards and recommend improvements. Experience & Requirements - 4–5+ years of experience in customer service / client servicing / sales coordination in packaging, printing, manufacturing, FMCG, or similar B2B environment. - Strong communication skills (English and Hindi). - Ability to manage customers independently without hand-holding. - Excellent understanding of order processing and production timelines. - Experience preparing quotations, POs, delivery schedules, and follow-ups. - Strong problem-solving approach and ownership mindset. - Ability to manage multiple clients and orders simultaneously. - Familiar with MIS reporting, Excel, and CRM tools. - High responsiveness and customer-focused behaviour. What We Are Looking For - Someone who is proactive, reliable, and takes full ownership of the customer’s journey. - Someone who understands the pace and pressure of a manufacturing / packaging setup. - Someone who can join immediately or within short notice. Qualifications - Strong interpersonal, communication, and client relationship management skills - Proven experience in sales, account management, and business development - Ability to analyze data and track performance metrics to improve client satisfaction - Proficiency in preparing proposals, presentations, and negotiations - Highly organized with excellent time management skills - Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and adapt to a fast-paced environment - Experience in the packaging or related industries is an advantage - Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline
