About the job

As an experienced Key Account Manager with 5-8 years of experience in B2B sales & marketing, and a Business Management degree, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and contract management within the LPG/Propane fuel market. Your responsibilities will include end-to-end sales, lead generation, developing technical proposals, negotiating long-term supply agreements, managing commercial aspects, safety audits, and providing market intelligence on competitors and regulatory changes. Key Responsibilities and Technical Deliverables: - Generate leads and convert fuel users to LPG/Propane. - Develop technical and commercial proposals for prospective customers. - Secure new industrial contracts with a minimum volume contract period of 5 years. - Manage and grow the total contracted volume from a maximum of 15 customers. - Negotiate and sign long-term supply agreements for sales. Commercial Management and Customer Relations: - Negotiate prices on a monthly basis. - Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments. - Conduct routine visits to customers for better relations. - Provide strategic reports on competitors and regulatory changes. - Ensure timely collection of mandatory forms. Safety, Compliance, and Technical Oversight: - Visit customer sites to ensure safe equipment usage. - Conduct safety audits and training mock drills. - Utilize technical knowledge to understand customer challenges. Mandatory Skills & Qualifications: - 5-8 years of experience in B2B sales & marketing. - Graduate/Postgraduate with a Business Management qualification. - Experience in LPG/Propane fuel business. - Adequate technical knowledge of B2B business. - Ability to manage complex contract negotiations. Preferred Skills: - Success in converting users from rival fuel sources. - Knowledge of safety standards for LPG storage. - Experience with high-value, long-term contracts. - Proficiency in using CRM systems for sales management.
