Objectives of this role • Ensure that the opportunities for learning and growth are readily available to employees as an L&D manager • Work toward getting the right training resources to employees that will aid them in reaching their full potential • Guarantee organisational growth in a company by enabling individual and personal growth for an employee • Develop programs that are tailor-made to deliver outstanding results • Deep dive into new training methods and global trends in development through the right learning in human resources management Responsibilities • Plan, implement and oversee all the learning and development activities within a company • Design training programs that are pertinent to certain roles or organisational goals in a company • Ensure that learning materials and resources are easily and readily available to the learners • Manage other aspects of learning, such as timelines and budgets, as a learning and development manager • Assist, guide and advise employees who are undergoing training programs or who want to explore learning opportunities • Hire learning and development specialists and be a point of contact between the company and the external trainers • Assess the success and effectiveness of the training plans and make appropriate changes to them to further enhance their results within the scope of the learning and development manager role Required skills and qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, education or a related discipline • Prior experience working as a learning and development manager • Knowledge of learning and developmental theories and practices • Demonstrable communication, organisational and time management skills • Strong understanding of Indian labour laws and HRIS systems • Master’s degree in human resources, education or a related area of study • Experience in identifying, designing and maintaining learning programs • Expert-level knowledge in MS Office and making presentations
