Primary Skills We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist / Associate Project Manager – Classical Machine Learning for one of our Data Science projects. About Role: Experience – 8 to 12 years Location- Bangalore / Hyderabad / Chennai / Pune / Gurgaon Notice- Candidates with a notice period of 15 days / 30 days will be preferred, as we are looking to close this position at the earliest. Key Responsibilities • Lead classical ML / statistical projects from design to delivery. • Collaborate with clients to understand requirements, manage expectations, and build trusted relationships. • Create project plans, manage sprints, and track deliverables using Scrum / Jira. • Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members. • Partner with cross-functional teams to address consumer industry challenges. • Ensure timely delivery of solutions aligned with client objectives. Required Skills & Experience • Strong communication skills with proven ability to manage client relationships. • Hands-on experience in statistical analysis and classical ML techniques. • Background in client expectation management with demonstrated success in consulting environments. • Experience in consumer industry preferred, with understanding of domain-specific challenges. • Knowledge of Scrum / Jira to create project plans, manage sprints, and track deliverables. Preferred Attributes • Analytical mindset with problem-solving orientation. • Ability to balance technical depth and leadership in client-facing roles. • Proactive approach to managing ambiguity and driving clarity in projects. Job requirements • Looking for ML Engineer with Data Science background. • Tech savvy, hands-on person with experience working on GCP (preferred) and/or Azure. • Should have experience with Spark, tuning pipeline, and ML aspects.
