Lead Design Manager

About the job

We are seeking applications for the position of KB 2 - Lead Design Manager for Project “Redevelopment Project of CSMT Railway Station and construction of associated infrastructure, RLDA in Mumbai location.” Missions/Main Duties • Lead and manage a team of structural engineers and designers responsible for developing structural designs, drawings, and specifications for the CSMT Project Mumbai. • Collaborate with architects, consultants, and stakeholders to develop conceptual and detailed structural designs for new construction, renovation, and restoration projects within the CSMT redevelopment scope. • Conduct structural analysis and engineering calculations to assess the performance and stability of building structures, including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and facades. • Identify opportunities for value engineering and optimization to enhance the cost-effectiveness and performance of structural designs. • Implement quality assurance processes to review, validate, and verify structural designs and documentation. • Foster collaboration and coordination with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants. • Identify potential risks and challenges related to structural design and construction activities. • Ensure the safety compliances, conduct safety training as per group policy mainly 3S training. • Ensure every team member must have gone through Business Ethics and compliance training. • Ensure every project member has knowledge of the Environment policy of the company. • Ensure each member of the team has gone through 9 lifesaving rules. • Organize risk assessment for the workplace. • Ensure and manage fire protection, make arrangements for first aid, evacuate plans, organize and take part in evacuate exercise.
