As a Lead, Program Management (Systems) at D. E. Shaw India, based out of the Hyderabad office, you will be responsible for overseeing multi-site and cross-functional IT infrastructure programs. Your role will involve managing projects related to office buildouts, expansions or relocations, data center and network refresh projects, Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity initiatives, and end-user technology upgrades. You will work in a dynamic, global environment and collaborate with diverse teams to drive impactful outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Manage IT infrastructure and office buildout projects from inception to delivery - Gather requirements, create detailed project plans, set milestones, manage budgets, oversee procurement, and coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors - Handle the full program lifecycle—scoping, scheduling, resource planning, execution, and closure—ensuring projects meet quality expectations and security standards - Act as the central point of contact between technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and support functions - Perform vendor selection and contract management, risk identification and mitigation, dependency management, and change control - Track and report progress, risks, and financials to senior leadership, prepare documentation and handover packages, and ensure operational readiness for ongoing support and scalability Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technical discipline; and either an MBA from a top institution or proven project/program management experience - 3 to 6 years of relevant experience managing IT infrastructure, systems, data center, networking, or office buildout projects - Robust knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices, with a process-oriented approach to complex technical initiatives - Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder projects and influence cross-functional teams, including vendors and consultants - Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities - Preferred qualifications include PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification, familiarity with IT infrastructure components, and experience managing multi-site or global projects in dynamic environments If you are interested in applying for this position, you can do so through the company's website.
