Lead Software Engineer – API & Alerts We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our high-impact Shared Platform team in Bangalore. This is an amazing opportunity to work with our shared platform team that powers 500+ APIs and handles 60M+ requests daily, enabling seamless data delivery and real-time notifications for global customers. You’ll work on cutting-edge API management solutions, integrating cloud-native architecture, security protocols, and intelligent systems. About You • Minimum 5 years of experience in API Gateway (preferably Kong) and cloud AWS services (S3, SQS, SNS, RDS, Lambda). • Must be strong in Angular, TypeScript & experience with PostgreSQL. • Should be a Bachelor’s degree graduate in computer science or related field. It would be great if you also had . . . • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts What will you be doing in this role? • Design and implement secure, scalable API Gateway solutions using Kong. • Define and enforce API standards, authentication, and authorization (OAuth2, JWT). • Build multi-channel notification systems (email, in-app) with real-time delivery. • Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting for all services. • Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and observability across systems.
