Our client is seeking an accomplished Lead Sports Performance Analyst to oversee data-driven training programs for elite athletes in Mumbai, Maharashtra, IN. This pivotal role involves utilizing advanced analytics and technology to enhance athletic performance, injury prevention, and strategic game planning. The Lead Analyst will be responsible for collecting, processing, and interpreting a wide range of performance data, including physiological metrics, biomechanical data, GPS tracking, video analysis, and training load. You will work closely with coaches, athletes, and sports scientists to translate complex data into actionable insights and personalized training recommendations. Key responsibilities include: • Developing sophisticated models for performance prediction. • Identifying key performance indicators (KPIs). • Creating comprehensive reports for coaching staff and management. This hybrid role requires presence at training facilities for data collection and direct athlete interaction, balanced with remote work for in-depth analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of sports science principles, exceptional analytical and statistical skills, and proven experience with performance analysis software and tools (e.g., Catapult, Hudl, Wyscout, R, Python). You should have strong leadership capabilities, the ability to mentor a team of analysts, and excellent communication skills to effectively convey findings to diverse stakeholders. Qualifications: • Master's degree in Sports Science, Biomechanics, Data Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in sports performance analysis, including significant experience in a leadership capacity.
