Location : India (Remote) Experience : 3–10+ years (flexible) Employment Type : Full-time About the Role Lawvek is building an AI-first legal services platform that reviews and negotiates US commercial contracts at startup speed. We’re looking for lawyers, legal analysts, or consultants based in India who have hands-on exposure to US legal transactions and want to help shape how AI transforms ... legal work. This is a high-ownership role at the intersection of law, AI, and product. You won’t just review contracts — you’ll help build the system that reviews them. What You’ll Do • Work alongside AI systems to review and validate US commercial contracts across industries such as SaaS, technology services, and high-growth startups • Act as the human judgment layer on top of AI-reviewed contracts, ensuring legal soundness, commercial practicality, and alignment with US law • Contribute to building the legal frameworks and judgment models that sit at the core of our AI product • Help define and refine SLAs for contract turnaround time, quality, and review depth • Collaborate closely with founders, engineers, and AI teams to shape product workflows and decision logic • Review agreements including MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, SaaS & services contracts, and transaction-related documents • Participate directly in building and improving the product, not just executing legal work Who We’re Looking For • Lawyers, legal analysts, or consultants with exposure to US commercial contracts • Experience reviewing or supporting transactions involving US companies • Backgrounds may include: Big 4 or large consulting firms, In-house legal or General Counsel teams, Cross-border transaction roles • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments • Strong independent judgment and attention to detail • Genuine interest in AI, legal tech, and product building US bar qualification is not required. Practical US contract experience is essential.
