Job title: Machine Learning and Strategy Special Projects Reports to: Vice President Operations Job purpose Application of data analytics across variety of high-impact special projects across research, clinical, and commercial. Duties and responsibilities • The successful candidate will work closely with R&D and Corporate stakeholders under Ocugen’s R&D and Business organization to develop predictive AI/ML models using large-scale datasets. • Create impactful content to shape ophthalmology gene therapy strategy and implementation. • Deploy machine learning tools against commercial activities including but not limited to commercial planning and launch timelines. • Key activities including but not limited to – ingesting public data, performing data clean-up to ensure model compatibility, integrating external and internal datasets, and optimizing multi-model models. • Ad-hoc requests to support Commercial, Strategy, Business Development, and finance as-needed. Qualifications • B. Tech in Artificial Intelligence and machine learning, computer science and Engineering, data science. • 12+ years industry experience. • Ability to deliver on tight deadlines. • Demonstrated attention to detail and outstanding organization skills. • Self-motivated with a commitment to high quality, on-time deliverables. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a team-oriented approach. • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues and effectively manage timelines. Working Condition: This position operates in an office setting, in person. Job may additionally require incumbent to be available outside of these hours to handle priority business needs. Direct Reporting: This is a largely sedentary role.
