Machine Learning Engineer / Competitive Data Scientist

About the job

We are looking for a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer / Competitive Data Scientist to participate in global data science competitions such as Kaggle and similar platforms to generate prize-based revenue and enhance our technical portfolio. Key Responsibilities: • Participate in Kaggle and other ML competitions • Develop advanced machine learning and deep learning models • Perform data cleaning, feature engineering, and model tuning • Work on real-world datasets • Collaborate on strategy for competition ranking improvement • Document solutions and reusable pipelines • Explore monetization opportunities through competition wins and solution licensing Required Skills: • Strong Python programming • Expertise in NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn • Experience with XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost • Knowledge of Deep Learning (TensorFlow / PyTorch) • Strong understanding of feature engineering • Experience in Kaggle competitions (preferred) • Portfolio or Kaggle profile link required Preferred: • Kaggle medalist (Bronze/Silver/Gold) • Strong ranking history • Experience in hackathons • Knowledge of NLP / Computer Vision Compensation: • Fixed salary OR • Revenue sharing model (percentage of prize winnings) OR • Performance-based incentives Salary Range: ₹30,000 – ₹1,20,000/month (based on experience) Job Type: • Full-time / Part-time / Remote • Project-based contract option available Screening Questions • Share your Kaggle profile link. • Highest Kaggle rank achieved? • Which ML models are you strongest in? • Have you won or placed in competitions before?
