Job Title: Manager Department: Project Finance Location: Gurugram Reporting To: DGM - Project Finance About the Company: We are amongst the top 10 largest renewable IPPs in India in terms of total capacity as of December 31, 2024. We develop, build, operate, and maintain projects through our in-house engineering, procurement, construction, operations & maintenance teams. Our portfolio of projects includes wind, solar, wind-solar hybrid and firm and dispatchable renewable energy including battery energy storage systems. Job Summary: Manage end-to-end project finance activities, including debt syndication, financial structuring, lender coordination, and credit rating management. The role focuses on ensuring timely financial closure, effective cash flow management, and compliance with lender and regulatory requirements, while supporting the organization’s growth in the renewable energy sector. Key Responsibilities: • Lead end-to-end project finance activities including debt syndication, financial closure, and post-disbursement management. • Prepare and review Loan Applications, Project Information Memorandums (PIM), Term Sheets, and financing proposals. • Develop, review, and validate detailed financial models covering project viability, cash flows, IRR, DSCR, and debt servicing. • Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, NBFCs, and multilateral agencies for: • Sanction and enhancement of credit limits • Disbursement of term loans • Issuance of Bank Guarantees (BGs) and Letters of Credit (LCs) • Manage credit rating processes, including data submission and interactions with credit rating agencies. • Ensure compliance with all terms and conditions of financing documents, loan agreements, and security documentation. • Oversee preparation of disbursement notes, pre- and post-disbursement checklists, and lender reports. • Monitor project financial performance including generation, revenues, receivables, and covenant compliance. • Work closely with internal stakeholders such as projects, legal, accounts, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution. • Track market developments, regulatory changes, and financing trends in the renewable energy and infrastructure sector. • Support refinancing, restructuring, and portfolio-level financing initiatives as required. Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with MBA (Finance) or Chartered Accountant (CA). • 6–10 years of relevant experience in project finance, preferably in renewable energy, power, or infrastructure sectors. • Proven experience in debt syndication, lender negotiations, and financial closure of projects. • Strong expertise in financial modelling, project appraisal, and risk assessment.
