Role Overview The Manager – Financial Advisory will lead delivery of ... financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical engagements for multiple clients. The role involves managing client relationships, leading advisory assignments, mentoring teams, and supporting CFO-level decision-making processes. This role is suited for professionals who enjoy analytical finance, business understanding, and strategic financial planning, beyond traditional accounting. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Modeling & Forecasting • Lead preparation and review of financial models. • Develop operating forecasts, budgets, and projections. • Build scenario and sensitivity analyses. • Support fundraising and investor financial models. • Develop KPI and unit economics models. 2. Financial Analysis & Decision Support • Analyze client financial performance and identify trends and risks. • Provide insights supporting strategic decisions. • Support profitability, pricing, and cost optimization analysis. • Prepare board and investor reporting analysis. 3. Client Engagement Management • Act as primary delivery owner for FA clients. • Lead client discussions on forecasts and performance. • Translate business requirements into analytical outputs. • Maintain strong CFO/founder relationships. 4. Team Leadership • Manage and mentor FA analysts and senior analysts. • Review team outputs for accuracy and presentation quality. • Guide team on financial thinking and modeling standards. • Support hiring and capability building. 5. Decks & Executive Reporting • Prepare management and investor presentation decks. • Convert financial data into executive-ready insights. • Support fundraising and board presentations. 6. Process & Capability Development • Standardize modeling templates and delivery practices. • Improve analytical workflows. • Build reusable frameworks for FA assignments. Required Qualifications • CA / MBA Finance / CFA / equivalent qualification preferred. • 6–10 years of experience in FP&A, financial advisory, investment banking support, consulting, or corporate finance. • Strong financial modeling and analytical background. • Experience working with US clients preferred. Technical Skills Required • Advanced Excel / financial modeling expertise. • Strong understanding of financial statements and business drivers. • Experience with forecasting and planning tools preferred. • Strong presentation and analytical structuring skills. Soft Skills Required • Strong analytical thinking. • Client-facing communication capability. • Ability to simplify complex financial insights. • Team leadership and mentoring capability. • Ownership mindset.
