Manager Financial Planning & Strategy Role Type: High-Impact / Cross-Functional Leadership Education: MBA/PGP from a Tier-1 Institute (IIM preferred) Professional Background: 3+ years of high-performance experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, or Transaction Advisory (Big 4). Strong background in deal-side mechanics or portfolio monitoring, with a deep understanding of how operational efficiency translates into bottom-line growth. Prior experience in Agri-Tech or FMCG portfolio companies is highly desirable. The Opportunity We are a self-financed, farmer-owned FMCG powerhouse that controls its entire ecosystem from the soil to the supermarket shelf. Operating without the constraints of external debt, we move with the speed of a startup and the stability of an established conglomerate. We are looking for a Manager of Financial Planning & Strategy to act as the "connective tissue" of our organization. This is not a back-office role. You will be the strategic bridge between the CEO, Finance Head, and Operational Leads , translating raw data into the fuel that drives our end-to-end value chain. Core Responsibilities 1. Strategic Financial Orchestration • Drive the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and dynamic quarterly forecasting. • Ensure financial targets are perfectly synced with production capacities and sales velocity. • Build and stress-test robust financial models to support long-term business planning. 2. Value Chain & Supply Chain Intelligence • Audit and optimize the financial health of our end-to-end supply chain , from procurement to retail. • Partner with the Import/Export Manager to manage forex exposure and trade finance. • Work with the Production Team to identify unit-level cost efficiencies and margin expansion opportunities. 3. Performance & Cash Management • Monitor Cash Flow, Working Capital, and Liquidity with a focus on self-sustained growth. • Design and track "Next-Gen" KPIs that measure operational excellence beyond the standard P&L. • Lead risk assessment initiatives, providing the CEO with mitigation strategies for market volatility. 4. Advisory & Decision Support • Serve as a Financial Advisor to the CEO , providing data-backed rationales for CAPEX investments and new market entries. • Collaborate with the Sales Head on pricing strategies and trade spend optimization. Candidate Profile • Academic Excellence: MBA/PGP from a premier Indian Institute of Management (IIM) or equivalent. • The "Hustle" Factor: As a self-financed company, we value "frugal innovation." You must be comfortable with ambiguity and have a bias for action. • Analytical Prowess: Advanced financial modeling skills with the ability to see the "story" behind the numbers. • Communication: Sophisticated stakeholder management skills able to influence a factory floor manager just as effectively as the Board of Directors.
