About the Role The Manager, FP&A will play a critical role in managing our financial reporting, budget tracking, and financial modeling efforts. This role will involve preparing and presenting financial reports to investors and founders, handling ad-hoc reporting requests, and coordinating with our outsourced accounting vendor to ensure accuracy and compliance. What You’ll Own • Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders, including investors and founders. • Handle ad-hoc financial reporting requests from investors and founders, providing timely and accurate information. • Preparation & monitor of annual budgets & rolling forecast, ensuring financial plan adherence and identifying variances. • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making processes. • Lead end-to-end MIS & periodic close activities and reporting while ensuring compliance and coordinating with auditors for smooth audit completion. • Manage accurate and timely financial data in compliance with Indian accounting standards & US GAAP. • Ownership of statutory compliance for India and US entities including managing cross-border finance requirements across entities. • Manage cash flow planning, liquidity monitoring, and banking coordination to support day-to-day operations. • Manage end-to-end AP and AR functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and control. • Support strategic planning initiatives by providing financial insights and analysis. • Conduct financial performance analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial efficiency and profitability. • Collaborate with various departments to gather data, support budgeting processes, and ensure alignment with financial goals. What Makes You a Great Fit • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred. • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a start-up or mid-size company. • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis. • Excellent knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting processes. • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software/tools.
