WHO ARE WE: Tata Steel Foundation is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Steel Limited and was instituted on August 16, 2016. Location of Posting: Jamshedpur/Ranchi Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract (FTC) Purpose of the Role: The individual will serve as a key strategic partner, responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the people function. This role leads entire talent lifecycle from onboarding to exit, fostering a high-performance culture, ensuring talent retention, aligned with the organization’s growth objectives. The candidate should be dynamic, proactive and result oriented. Key Deliverables: • Implement people strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company’s business goals and growth plans. • Act as a strategic partner with the leadership team on all HR-related matters, including talent management & organizational design. • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, performance, and retention. • Lead change management efforts to support organizational growth and transformation. • Manage employee relations, addressing grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary matters in a fair and consistent manner. • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and industry standards. • Streamline HR operations and leverage HR technology (HRIS) to improve efficiency and data accuracy. • Develop and analyze people metrics to guide decision-making and measure the success of people initiatives. Functional Competencies: Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits Management, Employee Relations & Labour Law Compliance, HRIS & HR Operations, Change Management. Behavioural Competencies: People Skill, Strategic Thinking, Stakeholder Management, Decision Making and Problem Solving, People Leadership, Communication, and Interpersonal Skills. Other Parameters: Abide by the values of organization, promote a culture of safety, recognition, and appreciation within the team & community. Minimum Qualification: Full time master’s in human resource management or equivalent. Work experience in years: 3-10 years of relevant experience post master’s in human resource management or equivalent.
