Ready for the future The Role: As a Manager, Logistics with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience. Objectives of this role: • Support strategy execution for logistics and warehousing across various global teams and locations. • Implement financial metrics and associated KPIs for supply-chain network and vendors. • Develop and implement global transportation cost-savings programs for year-over-year savings. • Identify project responsibilities, delegating phases and elements to appropriate personnel. • Maintain awareness of industry and global logistics trends that will benefit company in the marketplace. Key Responsibilities: • Supply Chain Design & Execution: Develop and manage logistics plans for raw materials, equipment, and finished goods for large-scale projects. Ensure materials are delivered to sites in a timely manner as per project requirement. • Vendor & Contract Management: Negotiate with carriers, freight forwarders, and suppliers; manage contracts and Service Legal Agreements (SLAs). • Warehouse & Inventory: Optimize warehouse operations and ensure accurate inventory records. • Transportation & Distribution: Plan routes, schedule deliveries, and oversee inbound & outbound logistics, including complex import/export. • Cost & Performance: Implement cost-saving strategies, track KPIs (cost, time, accuracy), and analyze data for continuous improvement. Provide oversight into budgetary, scheduling, and project databases, and report regularly to senior managers about progress, plans, and problems that could affect costs or schedules. • Negotiation: Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routes or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications and costs. Negotiate best rates with carriers. • Risk & Compliance: Ensure adherence to HSSE, quality (ISO), and regulatory standards; conduct root cause analysis for issues and take corrective actions. Maintain customer service logs and safety records. Manage compliance, quality control, and quality assurance standards and specifications. • Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with multi-locational procurement teams, vendors, technical teams, and project management. Lead daily control meetings, identifying issues and actions to be taken. Consult with various internal business units and vendors to identify opportunities for improvements of the supply-chain network. About You: To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes: • 15-20 years’ field logistics and managerial experience. • Able to manage time effectively. • Strong systems skills, including proficiency in MS Office and logistics software (ERP, WMS, TMS). • Proven experience in EPC or large project logistics. • Cargo handling experience in SEZ facilities. • ODC handling experience across global locations. • Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. • Knowledge of international freight, customs, and supply chain best practices. • Knowledge of end-to-end logistics operations (including maritime, over-the-road, rail, customs, and warehousing). • Entrepreneurial mindset. • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain, Logistics, Business administration).
