Job Summary Maintains agreed-upon inventory levels to provide a flow of raw materials and components from the supply chain to the manufacturing facility. What You Will Do: • Ensuring that the environment of the inventory stock room is in line with requirements for each product. • Managing staffing, development, and performance management of materials management workers. Ensuring proper labor relations. • Defining and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Performing inventory analysis and making recommendations for stock levels. • Coordinating maintenance and support of inventory management software. Degree Requirement Degree or equivalent experience desired. Inventory Management - MFG: Knowledge of processes and methods of inventory management; ability to effectively manage local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods. Level Working Knowledge: • Follows processes to take stock, release inventory or return into processing; resolves discrepancies. • Tracks inventory information for a specific product group or location. Logistics Management: Knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products. Level Working Knowledge: • Assists in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity. • Uses tools, with guidance, to forecast delivery times, determine costs and assess performance. Performance Management: Knowledge of successful performance management techniques; ability to apply organization's performance management system, practices, and tools to developing and improving individual, team, and organizational performance. Level Working Knowledge: • Identifies opportunities to enhance performance, e.g., practice assignments, training, shadowing. Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way. Level Basic Understanding: • Seeks help to modify priorities as new information surfaces or conditions change. Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. Level Working Knowledge: • Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives. Supply Chain Management - MFG: Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes. Level Working Knowledge: • Discusses considerations for integrating partner and supplier transactions. Additional Information - This role requires working in US shift (third shift - India hours) - Candidates must be flexible and willing to work night shifts aligned with US business hours on a regular basis.
