Role Overview: The OB & Go-Live Manager – Payout & Escrow will be responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding and go-live process for Payout and Escrow products. The role requires strong experience in banking operations, deep understanding of payout mechanisms and escrow account structures, and the ability to manage bank relationships effectively. Key Responsibilities: 1. Banking & Partner Coordination • Manage relationships with partner banks for Payout and Escrow operations. • Coordinate for account setup, escrow structure approvals, and operational activation. • Liaise with bank operations, compliance, and relationship teams for smooth execution. • Ensure adherence to regulatory and banking guidelines (Process and document) • Work with banks for BAU coordination and Approvals 2. Client Onboarding • Lead end-to-end onboarding for Payout and Escrow clients. • Oversee escrow account and Payout account opening, documentation, approvals, and activation. • Validate compliance documentation as per banking and regulatory standards. • Ensure correct mapping of payout flows and settlement structures. 3. Go-Live Management • Plan and execute go-live strategy for payout and escrow clients. • Coordinate with Internal and external team to fulfill the bank / PG requirements • Coordinate with Tech, Product, Compliance, and Bank teams for readiness. • Conduct UAT validation before activation. • Ensure smooth first transaction execution and settlement confirmation. 4. Process & Risk Control • Monitor operational risks related to payout and escrow flows. • Identify gaps in banking processes and recommend improvements. • Ensure reconciliation processes are aligned with bank settlement cycles. • Maintain audit-ready documentation and records. Preferred Background: • Prior experience in Banking / Fintech handling Payout & Escrow products. • Experience working directly with partner banks or treasury teams. • Exposure to regulatory compliance and audit processes. • Understanding of RBI guidelines related to escrow and settlement (added advantage).
