Manager PPC Production Planning
About the job
To plan, coordinate, and control production activities to ensure timely delivery of products, optimum utilization of resources, effective inventory control, and seamless coordination across departments. Responsibilities • Prepare and execute production plans and schedules as per sales forecasts and customer requirements. • Monitor daily/weekly/monthly production against plans and take corrective actions. • Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Production for smooth production flow. • Ensure timely availability of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. • Control and optimize inventory levels to avoid shortages and excess stock. • Prepare and present MIS reports on production, dispatch, inventory, and capacity utilization. • Handle capacity planning, machine loading, and manpower planning. • Identify production bottlenecks and drive process improvements. • Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety norms, and statutory requirements. • Lead and guide the PPC team for effective plant-level coordination. Qualifications • B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering Experience: • Manager: 8–12 years • Senior Manager: 12–18 years • Exposure to manufacturing industry preferred.
