Role Overview We are looking for a Market & Industry Research Executive who understands the U.S. lighting and energy efficiency market. The role focuses on identifying market opportunities, rebate and incentive programs, retail and distribution channels, and potential partners where IKIO’s LED lighting solutions can be positioned. This role is not a data analytics role. The focus is on industry research, opportunity mapping, and outreach planning across the U.S. lighting ecosystem, including utilities, commercial buyers, retail channels, and private sector initiatives. Key Responsibilities The key responsibilities include researching and providing with reporting and insights. • Energy Programs & Incentives Research • Retail, Brand & Channel Research • Market & Opportunity Research • Competitive & Industry Intelligence • Reporting & Insights Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Energy Management, or related field • 2–4 years of experience in market research, industry research, or B2B research • Understanding of U.S. lighting market, retail channels, or energy efficiency programs • Experience researching brands, retail stores, distributors, and market opportunities • Familiarity with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, CRM systems, and research platforms • Strong internet research, analytical thinking, and reporting skills Preferred Background • Experience in LED lighting, electrical products, energy efficiency, or building technologies • Knowledge of U.S. utility rebate programs or ESCO ecosystem • Experience working with U.S. B2B markets
