.NET Backend Engineer

Role Overview We are seeking a .NET Backend Engineer (L3) with strong hands-on experience in .NET Core and Microservices to build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems in a mid-tier GCC environment. This role plays a key part in developing modern backend platforms that support long-term, business-critical initiatives. You will work in a collaborative engineering culture that values innovation, clean architecture, and continuous learning, contributing to impactful projects while growing your technical expertise. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core. • Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions. • Work with SQL databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL, including data modeling and optimization. • Ensure performance, scalability, reliability, and security of backend applications. • Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams. • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices. • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies. Required Skills & Experience: • 3-6 years of experience in .NET backend development. • Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core / ASP.NET Core. • Practical experience with Microservices architecture. • Experience developing and integrating REST APIs. • Solid understanding of SQL databases and data modeling. • Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines. • Good understanding of authentication, authorization, and application security concepts. Nice To Have: • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. • Exposure to Cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS. • Knowledge of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
