Experience: 5+ years Location: Balewadi Highstreet, Baner, Pune Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Node.js Backend Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing server-side applications to power seamless experiences for users. Your role will involve designing robust APIs, integrating with various systems, and ensuring the backend is scalable, secure, and efficient. Backend Development: • Build, develop, and maintain backend services and applications using Node.js. • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code. 2. API Development: • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful or GraphQL APIs for seamless integration with frontend and third-party systems. • Ensure robust authentication and authorization mechanisms. 3. Database Management: • Work with relational and non-relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis. • Design and optimize database schemas and queries. 4. Scalability and Performance: • Develop scalable and high-performing solutions. • Identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance. 5. Security and Stability: • Implement security best practices in backend applications. • Ensure the stability and reliability of backend systems. 6. Collaboration and Documentation: • Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver complete solutions. • Maintain clear and detailed technical documentation. 7. Testing and Debugging: • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. • Debug issues and provide timely fixes. Qualifications and Skills: 1. Technical Proficiency: • Strong experience with Node.js and related frameworks like Express.js, Nest.js, or Koa.js. • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and familiarity with TypeScript (preferred). • Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and non-blocking I/O. 2. Database Knowledge: • Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. • Proficiency in query optimization and data modeling. 3. API Design: • Experience designing and implementing RESTful or GraphQL APIs. • Knowledge of authentication standards like OAuth, JWT, etc. 4. Other Skills: • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization tools. • Experience with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus. • Knowledge of version control tools like Git. 5. Soft Skills: • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in an agile development environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a backend developer using Node.js. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Jest), and logging tools.
