About the Role We are looking for a highly responsible and detail-oriented Operations & Finance Associate who will work closely with the founder and act as the operational backbone of the company. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing people, tracking numbers, solving operational challenges, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly. You will be responsible for executing and managing day-to-day operations, coordinating across teams, monitoring performance through data, and ensuring financial and compliance processes are followed properly. In many ways, this role functions as an extension of the founder’s office, ensuring execution happens efficiently across the organization. Key Responsibilities Build systems and processes to ensure operations run efficiently without constant supervision. 1. Team & Operations Management • Conduct weekly review meetings with team members • Assign tasks and ensure timely completion • Track progress across teams and maintain accountability • Coordinate between departments to ensure smooth operations 2. Data & Analytics • Analyse operational data and identify bottlenecks or performance gaps • Create actionable plans based on analytics • Maintain dashboards and performance trackers • Provide insights to help improve business performance 3. Finance & Accounts • Maintain and update company ledgers • Create and manage invoices • Track incoming and outgoing payments • Maintain financial records in Excel 4. Compliance Coordination • Coordinate with the CA and finance team • Track regulatory and compliance requirements • Ensure documentation and filings are completed on time 5. Product & Tech Coordination • Work with the product/tech team to track product improvements • Document issues and help prioritize fixes • Ensure operational feedback reaches the product team 6. Founder’s Office Execution • Assist the founder in executing operational plans • Ensure decisions made at leadership level are implemented across teams • Bring structure and discipline to everyday operations Required Skills • Strong people management and communication skills • Excellent analytical thinking • Advanced Excel skills • Basic understanding of accounts and finance • Ability to work with data and operational metrics • Strong follow-up and execution mindset • Understanding of startup environments and fast-paced operations • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously Ideal Candidate • 2–4 years of experience in operations, finance, or business management • Highly organized and detail oriented • Comfortable working directly with the founder • Someone who enjoys taking ownership and solving problems • Interest in startups, tech, and community-driven platforms
