About the job
As an Operations Manager at Bain & Company, you will play a key role in independently managing global practice operations and collaborating with senior practice leadership to support the execution of strategy. Your responsibilities will include providing insights and recommendations to leadership, supporting strategic plan development, driving practice reporting, budget planning/execution, and KPI setting. You will also be involved in tracking and deploying practice affiliates/experts/advisors and providing commercial support. Additionally, you will support the content and planning for practice meetings, trainings, and calls, ensuring consistency and standards across the practice. Key Responsibilities: - Work with senior team members to enable Practice leadership to implement and evaluate the global strategy and additional initiatives. - Act as a thought-partner with regional and solution leaders to set KPIs for the practice, drive the practice planning process, and integrate elements for the full plan. - Manage the solution/sector/region input process for annual budget submission and reforecasts, monitoring progress and interpreting trends. - Drive the design and execution of practice reporting and metrics, ensuring data integrity and providing insights for decision-making. - Oversee affiliate administration, talent tracking, and projects within the practice. - Collaborate with Commercial Operations team on reporting and support on ad hoc basis. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Arts, Engineering, Science, or equivalent undergraduate degree with strong academic credentials; MBA is a plus. - 8-13 years of experience in a professional services firm environment. - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with command over Microsoft and automation applications. - Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to establish credibility with senior business executives. - Strong team player with the ability to motivate team members and manage competing priorities independently. - Experience with business and performance measurement, strategic planning, and project management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts, Engineering, Science, or equivalent undergraduate degree with strong academic credentials
- MBA is a plus
- 8-13 years of experience in a professional services firm environment
