Role: Oracle Fusion (Finance) Functional Consultant Contract Duration: 6 Months (Immediate Start) Location: Chennai Work Mode: Work from Customer Office / Onsite Industry: IT / Enterprise Applications / Logistics Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion (Finance) Consultant (Contract) to drive and guide the rollout of the customer’s in-house cloud-based logistics applications ... (web and mobile) in alignment with a parallel Oracle Fusion Finance implementation being executed by a third-party vendor. The role requires strong functional knowledge of fusion (finance), program coordination, technical understanding, and stakeholder management to ensure both initiatives progress on synchronized timelines. Experience & Qualifications • 8-10 years of overall experience in the IT industry • Strong functional understanding of Oracle Fusion Finance modules • Minimum 5 years of experience as functional consultant in Oracle Fusion Finance, and should have worked on implementation engagements and /or support & maintenance engagements as functional owner • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline (preferred) Key Responsibilities • Coordinate and drive rollout of changes to in-house logistics applications (cloud-based web and mobile apps) and ensure alignment and synchronized execution with the Oracle Fusion Finance rollout led by a third-party implementation partner • Develop and manage integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies across multiple teams • Coordinate closely with Customer IT and business stakeholders, Third-party Oracle Fusion implementation partner and Internal application development and support teams • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and conflicts across parallel initiatives and drive timely resolution • Manage change requests, evolving requirements, and fast-paced delivery expectations • Track progress, report status, and escalate issues to senior stakeholders as required • Ensure adherence to timelines, scope, and quality expectations Technical & Functional Skills • Good knowledge of: • Oracle Fusion Finance • APIs and system integrations • SQL and data-level troubleshooting • Cloud-based enterprise applications • Web and mobile application architectures • Ability to understand technical dependencies and translate them into executable project plans Core Competencies • Strong planning, execution, and delivery management skills • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination abilities • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to work with senior business and IT leaders • Proven ability to operate in dynamic, fast-changing environments • High ownership mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
