Technical - FRS (Financial Reporting Studio) Reports Developer No. of Position: 2 Start Date: Immediate Joiner Experience Level: 5-7 years Work Location: Pune, Kolkata, Gurugram, Chennai, Mumbai Description: An Oracle Fusion FRS (Financial Reporting Studio) Reports Developer job description involves designing, developing, and supporting financial reports using tools like the Financial Reporting Studio (FRS), BI Publisher (BIP), and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI). Key responsibilities include gathering business requirements, customizing reports using RTF/Excel templates, and performing data validation and testing to ensure accuracy for financial statements like balance sheets and income statements.Key responsibilities: Requirement gathering: Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications for reporting solutions. Report development: Design, develop, and deploy custom reports using FRS, BIP, and OTBI, including creating RTF, e-text, and Excel templates. Data and schema knowledge: Work with the Oracle Fusion Cloud schema and subject areas, and use SQL to extract and model data for reporting. Testing and validation: Perform unit and integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure data accuracy. Troubleshooting and support: Troubleshoot report issues, resolve bugs, perform performance optimizations, and provide ongoing support to users. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for all developed reports and solutions. Collaboration: Work with functional consultants, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver solutions. Required skills and qualifications Oracle Fusion experience: 5+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, Functional knowledge: Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Finance modules. Technical skills (must have): Proficiency in Technical FRS (Financial Reporting Studio), BIP, OTBI, and Smart View. SQL skills: Strong SQL development skills for reporting. Other tools: Experience with Oracle BI Cloud Connector (BICC), and a basic understanding of the Fusion Cloud schema and data validation is required. Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Communication: Excellent communication and documentation skills. Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
