The role involves maintaining and improving a Next.js website, supporting Laravel/PHP APIs, and ensuring smooth integration with our CMS and CRM systems. This is not a pure fresh-development role. We need someone who is comfortable working on an existing production setup, identifying issues, fixing bugs, handling integrations, and making regular improvements without disturbing live workflows. The ideal candidate should be confident in both frontend and backend development, understand how live websites operate, and be able to deliver stable, practical solutions with clear communication. Key Responsibilities 1. Frontend Development (Next.js) • Maintain and improve the existing website built in Next.js. • Build and modify pages, sections, forms, and reusable components. • Ensure responsive design, fast performance, and SEO-friendly implementation. • Identify and resolve frontend bugs and usability issues. • Improve overall user experience while keeping the live site stable. 2. Backend Development (Laravel / PHP) • Maintain and enhance Laravel-based APIs connected to the website, CMS, and CRM. • Create and update endpoints, validations, business logic, and error handling. • Work on authentication flows and role-based access controls where required. • Debug backend and production issues and implement reliable fixes. 3. CMS / CRM Integration • Ensure data from website forms and lead flows is properly captured in the CRM. • Diagnose and fix sync issues between website, backend, CMS, and CRM. • Work on API-based or webhook-based integrations where needed. • Make sure business-critical flows such as lead capture remain stable. 4. Deployment and Ongoing Support • Use Git properly for version control, code updates, and clean delivery. • Support deployments and coordinate on basic server-related tasks when required. • Share weekly progress updates and participate in task planning. • Ensure changes are delivered carefully without breaking live functionality. Minimum Requirements (Must-Have) • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Laravel (PHP). • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Next.js. • Strong working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript. • Solid experience with REST API integration, including JSON handling, authentication, validations, and error handling. • Good understanding of MySQL and database basics, including queries, debugging, and relationships. • Comfortable using Git, including branching, pull requests, merges, and conflict resolution. • Practical experience in maintaining and improving existing production websites. Good to Have (Preferred) • Experience with the React ecosystem, including hooks and basic state management. • Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap. • Basic DevOps understanding, including cPanel, Nginx, Apache, environment variables, and log checking. • Experience working with CRM tools such as Zoho, HubSpot, LeadSquared, or similar platforms. • Knowledge of caching, performance optimization, and basic security best practices. What Success Looks Like • The website runs smoothly with minimal downtime or disruption. • CRM and CMS integrations remain stable and dependable. • Bugs are fixed quickly and updates are delivered cleanly. • Communication is consistent, and weekly progress is clear and predictable. • The developer can work independently while staying aligned with priorities. Work Model • Part-time role: 15–20 hours per week. • Weekdays will be remote with regular updates through WhatsApp, Slack, or email. • Saturday onsite in Mumbai is mandatory for review, planning, and deployment-related coordination if needed. How to Apply Please share the following: • Your updated resume • GitHub profile or portfolio, if available • Links or examples of Laravel API and Next.js projects you have worked on • Confirmation that you are comfortable with Saturday onsite work in Mumbai • Your expected monthly compensation within the ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 range • Your availability for 15–20 hours per week
