About the job

Job Summary The Payroll Finance Analyst supports a centralized Payroll Center of Excellence (COE) by executing payroll-related finance and payment activities in a global, multi-entity environment. The role focuses on post-payroll processing, payroll-to-GL support, bank file uploads, reconciliations, and month-end close activities under established controls and procedures. Key Responsibilities Post-Payroll & Payment Support • Support post-payroll activities including reconciliations, accrual preparation, and journal entry support. • Assist with preparation, review, and upload of payroll bank files in coordination with Treasury payment factory processes. • Validate payroll outputs and funding readiness to support timely salary and statutory payments. General Ledger & Reconciliations • Prepare and support reconciliation of payroll-related GL accounts, including wages, benefits, taxes, accruals, and clearing accounts. • Assist in identifying and resolving reconciling items and posting variances with guidance from senior team members. • Support efforts to reduce manual reclassifications through accurate processing and issue tracking. Bank & Funding Activities • Support payroll bank account reconciliations and basic bank file governance activities. • Track payment confirmations, rejections, and failures and escalate issues as needed. • Coordinate with Treasury and payroll vendors to support on-time payroll funding across global banking platforms. Vendor & Stakeholder Support • Support review of payroll vendor and benefit provider invoices for accuracy. • Assist in resolving routine vendor queries related to payments, billing, or reporting. • Provide data and support to FP&A for payroll-related cost analysis and budget reviews. Controls, Compliance & Documentation • Perform payroll finance activities in accordance with SOX controls, Global Payroll Policy, and the Payroll & HR Control Framework. • Support documentation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs). • Assist with audit requests by providing reconciliations, reports, and supporting documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting, payroll finance, Treasury operations, or financial operations
