The People Success Lead at GreyLabs is a builder’s role at its core. This role sits at the intersection of People Operations and People Partnering, designed for someone who enjoys building from scratch, iterating fast, and owning outcomes end-to-end. You’ll work closely with the Director - People & Culture to co-create people systems, processes, and experiences that support GreyLabs’ rapid growth and evolving culture. This is a role for someone who enjoys thinking, building, scrapping, rebuilding, and improving - continuously. What You’ll Do: People Operations & Core Foundations • Own and run end-to-end People Operations across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, documentation, HRIS, policies, exits) • Build, document, and scale HR processes, SOPs, and internal playbooks • Partner with Finance and external vendors on payroll, benefits, and statutory compliance • Ensure data accuracy, operational hygiene, and seamless execution People Partnering & Employee Experience • Act as a trusted people partner to managers and teams • Support performance conversations, feedback cycles, and team effectiveness • Drive engagement initiatives, employee listening, and culture programs • Be a strong point of contact for employee queries, context, and resolution Communication, Creativity & Enablement • Create internal communication assets, decks, and people playbooks • Use tools like Canva (or similar) to design clear, engaging, and effective content • Simplify complex people processes into easy-to-use guides for employees and managers Thought Partnership & Ownership • Brainstorm, challenge ideas constructively, and co-build solutions • Bring structured thinking, creativity, and execution rigour to people challenges Who This Role Is For • 3 - 7 years of experience in People Ops, HR Ops, or HRBP roles • Prior experience in startups or high-growth environments is a strong plus • Someone who enjoys building before polishing • Comfortable working without rigid playbooks • High ownership mindset with strong execution capability • Creative thinker with solid operational fundamentals • Clear, empathetic, and practical communicator What Will Help You Thrive at GreyLabs • Comfort with ambiguity and fast-moving environments • Ability to manage multiple priorities and switch contexts easily • Strong judgement and decision-making skills • Bias for action and continuous improvement • Genuine interest in building meaningful employee experiences.
