About the job

Role Overview As a Performance Marketing Account Manager at MarketingLab, you are the glue between our clients and our internal teams. You don't run campaigns — but you own the outcome. Your job is to ensure that the Meta team, Google team, and Marketplace team are all working in sync, moving towards one goal: the client's growth. You are the face of MarketingLab for your clients — their trusted advisor, their escalation point, and their biggest champion internally. Key Responsibilities Client Success & Primary POC • Serve as the single point of contact for D2C brand accounts — owning the overall client relationship end-to-end • Take full accountability for client success: brand growth, ROAS health, GMV targets, and satisfaction • Run weekly and monthly client review calls, presenting consolidated performance updates across all channels • Translate client business goals, concerns, and feedback into clear briefs and action items for internal teams • Proactively flag risks, delays, or performance dips to clients — before they have to ask Internal Team Coordination • Act as the internal orchestrator — coordinating daily with the Meta Ads team, Google Ads team, and Marketplace team to ensure aligned execution • Ensure all teams are working towards the client's current priority: a product launch, a sale event, a ROAS target, or a new market push • Gather performance updates from each team, consolidate insights, and present a unified view to the client • Manage timelines, deliverables, and escalations across internal pods to avoid client-facing gaps or delays • Bridge communication between the client and creative team for ad content briefs, approvals, and feedback loops Strategy & Planning • Lead monthly strategy planning sessions with the client — defining channel-wise priorities, budget allocation, and growth levers • Work with the Meta, Google, and Marketplace teams to develop integrated go-to-market plans for product launches, festive campaigns, and key sale periods • Track and report on blended performance metrics — GMV, blended ROAS, CAC, LTV, AOV, and channel-wise contribution • Identify upsell or expansion opportunities for the client (new channels, new audience segments, new platforms) and coordinate their execution What We're Looking For Experience & Skills • 2–4 years of experience in account management, client servicing, or brand management — preferably in a digital marketing agency or D2C brand • Working knowledge of performance marketing channels: Meta Ads, Google Ads, and marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.) — you don't need to run campaigns, but you must understand how they work • Strong understanding of D2C growth metrics: blended ROAS, CAC, LTV, AOV, GMV — able to read dashboards and ask the right questions • Exceptional communication and project management skills — comfortable managing multiple stakeholders simultaneously • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Hindi; ability to present data clearly to founders and marketing leads • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive outcomes without direct authority Mindset & Attitude • Client-first ownership — you treat your client's business like your own and lose sleep when their numbers aren't right • Natural orchestrator — you bring order to chaos, keep teams aligned, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks • Proactive communicator — you surface problems before the client does, and come with solutions not just updates • Calm under pressure — when ROAS drops or a campaign misfires, you stay composed, coordinate fast, and communicate clearly • Relationship builder — clients trust you not just because you're professional, but because you genuinely care about their success Nice to Have • Prior experience managing client accounts in a performance marketing or growth agency • Familiarity with the Indian D2C ecosystem — brand landscape, seasonal sale calendar, marketplace dynamics • Exposure to marketplace advertising on Amazon, Flipkart, or quick commerce platforms (Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart) • Understanding of unit economics and P&L thinking — so you can have commercial conversations with D2C founders What You'll Get • Competitive salary based on experience and demonstrated results • Direct exposure to India's fastest-growing D2C brands, including Shark Tank India alumni • A culture that rewards ownership, performance, and bold thinking over just hours worked • Fast-track growth opportunity in a scaling agency with high-impact clients.
