You will spend the majority of your time (70%) building Kraftshala’s Performance Marketing Centre of Excellence — designing and delivering training on paid acquisition, mentoring students, consulting on real brand problems, and staying ahead of how modern performance marketing is evolving across Google, Meta, and emerging platforms. The remaining 30% of your time will be spent running and scaling performance marketing for Kraftshala, giving you a live environment to apply ideas, test new campaign structures, experiment with automation and creative strategies, and feed real execution learnings back into training and curriculum design. Who we’re looking for: Strong hands-on experience in running paid campaigns on Google Ads and Meta Ads is non-negotiable, along with curiosity, analytical thinking, and the ability to simplify complex ideas for new audiences. This is a 100% live, job-linked program that serves as a talent pipeline for agencies such as Publicis, Dentsu, IPG, Hiveminds, and Performics, as well as brands like Nestlé, Nykaa, Google, Lenskart, Zomato, and 500+ others. Unlike conventional programs, Kraftshala updates its performance marketing curriculum rapidly, often every month — to stay ahead of shifts such as the rise of automation and AI-driven campaign types (Performance Max, Advantage+), evolving privacy and attribution models, creative iteration at scale, and increasing dependence on first-party data. As the Performance Marketing Centre of Excellence, you are responsible for ensuring our programs stay at the forefront of these changes, so that students can add value to recruiting partners from Day 1. What you’ll spend your time on~70% | Performance Marketing Centre of Excellence As part of the Performance Marketing Centre of Excellence, you will be responsible for how paid acquisition is taught, practiced, and evaluated at Kraftshala. This includes: • Developing academic content: Combining insights from your own campaign experience with conversations with senior performance marketing practitioners to create clear frameworks for campaign structure, audience strategy, creative testing, bidding, and measurement. You will regularly experiment with tools, case studies, and live setups to keep learning relevant. • Upgrading training design: Using instructional design principles and analytics to upgrade projects, engagement formats, and assessments, while building repeatable playbooks for campaign planning and optimization. • Leading external experts: Managing a team of 8–12 part-time performance marketing experts who conduct sessions, provide project feedback, and take interviews. You will be responsible for selecting, auditing, coaching, and enabling them to deliver consistently high-quality outcomes. • Training & instruction: Conducting regular live sessions for small and large cohorts on topics ranging from campaign setup and audience segmentation to creative testing, analytics, conversion tracking, and attribution. • Analysing outcome metrics: Leveraging student performance data and placement outcomes to identify gaps and continuously improve curriculum quality and admissions filters. • (Optional) Social media impact: Contributing to performance marketing learning content on social platforms, if this is something you’re excited by. ~30% | Performance Marketing for Kraftshala To ensure the Centre of Excellence remains grounded in real execution realities, you will also work directly on Kraftshala’s own growth engine. This includes: • Paid media ownership: Planning, running, and optimizing performance marketing campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube) and Meta Ads to drive growth for Kraftshala. • Experimentation & scale: Testing new campaign structures, creative approaches, audience strategies, and automation features; scaling what works and retiring what doesn’t. • Systems & automation: Partnering with internal teams on lead management, CRM workflows, attribution setups, and conversion tracking to create a more scalable acquisition engine. Execution learnings from this work directly inform curriculum updates, teaching frameworks, and student projects. To summarize: The learnings that you’ll get through training, speaking to experts on the one hand, and simplifying concepts for beginners on the other hand, will enable you to consult on running better campaigns, which in turn will help you train better. This virtuous loop will help you become a high-impact marketing professional. A question we’d like to address upfront is what the career trajectory looks like for someone in this role. There are 2 broad possibilities of what you could be doing 5 years from now: • If your sweet spot turns out to be the aspect of working with people in a more intimate fashion and helping them grow, you can also specialize as a training expert and leader at Kraftshala. • If you end up enjoying the core activities of marketing more than the training piece, you’ll be a marketing leader within Kraftshala who’s focused on helping us grow the brand. Your role would be similar to a marketing leader in other consumer internet businesses, albeit with greater knowledge and perspective due to your time training other professionals. These are starting thoughts, of course, and any decision on a role is always a function of what a person wants matched with what the organization can offer at that time. The great advantage of a company that’s growing well (like Kraftshala) is that new opportunities open up frequently, and our preference would always be to try to fill up newly created roles with candidates from within the organization. Must-Have Skills • 3–8 years of hands-on experience planning, executing, and optimizing paid campaigns on Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube) and Meta Ads (We are not too fussed about the number of years. Experience is simply a proxy for capability, which is what we really care for). • Strong understanding of campaign structure, creative testing, bidding strategies, and conversion tracking • Ability to simplify complex ideas and communicate clearly to new audiences • A willingness to add value to every partner you work with • A structured, data-driven, user-centric approach to problem-solving. This will be a mix of online and offline interactions. • Setting Expectations: This will be a call to understand your profile briefly and share the details of the selection process. • Technical Exercise: This is a specific assessment designed to evaluate your fit for this role • Conversation 1: This will be a detailed assessment review conversation to go over your submission for the technical exercise with our Head of Marketing • Conversation 2: This will be a conversation with our Co-Founder & Head, Centre of Excellence, wherein you can expect to be evaluated on the competencies needed for the job. • Conversation 3: A conversation with our CEO to ensure that there is a fit with the Kraftshala Kode. • Extending an offer: If all goes well, we will extend an offer that will mention the relevant details.
