Role Description This is a contract-based, on-site role for a PHP Web Developer located in South Dum-Dum. The PHP Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive and dynamic websites and web applications. The role involves writing clean, efficient PHP code, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and implement technical requirements, troubleshooting and debugging applications, and ensuring compatibility across various devices and browsers. The developer is also expected to stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices to improve website performance and user experience. Qualifications • Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript • Experience with front-end development frameworks such as Bootstrap or Vue.js • Knowledge of database management and query languages like MySQL • Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git • Familiarity with responsive design principles and techniques • Understanding of web development best practices and security standards • Ability to solve complex technical problems and optimize website performance • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment • Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and PHP frameworks is a plus
